Hannah and Enrico exchanged their vows at this hidden gem in Kent, Cooling Castle Barn. We were so lucky as we had the perfect spring weather which lasted just until the group shots, then the heavens opened and everyone ran for shelter. As so often before a downpour, we had really beautiful light, so the feel of the photos is soft and summery. Hope you enjoy the browse!
The moment before Hannah came into the barn to walk up the aisle was truly breathtaking. She had to wait on a mezzanine to be announced and there was a shaft of light from the barn window - I felt so lucky to capture it as the light was changing quickly and Hannah moved just moments later.
Phew! Just in time - we managed to do all the photos in the stunning gardens of Cooling Castle barn and then we had a true spring downpour, which BTW is considered very lucky in Spain (I can't imagine how the poor wedding photographer at Spain's Crown Prince Felipe to Letizia Ortiz fared because the red carpet was so soaked, Letizia couldn't walk on it with her high heels!)
